An interesting selection caught with the pole net and released. A flounder, bully, two silveries, three whitebait, and a pair of crabs!

Having a bit of fun with the drag net in the strong, cold, north-easterly wind. Drag netting is one of my favourites whitebaiting methods When whitebaiting at the Waimakriri Rivermouth there is always something interesting going on. Here a kite towed three-wheel-buggy has just arrived on the south bank.
