| Salmon anglers after a fish at Macintoshes Rocks on the lower Waimakariri River 3 February 2006. The salmon angling has been slow so far this season perhaps as a result of lower than usual river flows. There are salmon porpoising but few are being caught. Noteably there doesn't seem to be many people fishing for salmon this season. | At the same location on the lower Waimakaririr River near Christchurch. River conditions are very clear at present. Perhaps a fresh through the river will help things along! Return to Waimakariri River |
