Ashley River Brownie
This sea run brown trout was taken in the Ashley in November 05 by Jonathan Scott.. It weighed 4lb and was caught on a white fry imitation on the fly. The Ashley is a small braided river discharging its flow into the sea some 15km north of the mouth of the Waimakariri River, North Canterbury, South Island.
