Bay of Islands Swordfish Club Inc - Official site of the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club Inc - the oldest game fishing club in New Zealand. The Bay of Islands Swordfish Club has clubhouses overlooking the water in both Paihia and Russell. Both have bar and meal facilities as well as excellent displays of historic fishing photographs, tackle and memorabilia. The B.O.I. Swordfish Club is a founding member of the N.Z. Big Game Fishing Council Inc. and is affiliated to I.G.F.A., NZ Chartered Clubs, The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, Royal Akarana Yacht Club, Ponsonby Cruising Club and the Opua Cruising Club. Members of all affiliated clubs are most welcome to enjoy the Clubs facilities when visiting the area. |

Canterbury Fly Fishing Club - The CFFC was founded in 1960 and since that time the club has continued to have an active group of members, varying in ability from beginner through to expert. The club promotes all aspects of the sport including fishing techniques, development and innovation, casting techniques, and fly tying. The club also strongly voices opinions on habitat preservation and conservation of our trout fisheries. We are a proud member of the New Zealand Federation of Freshwater Anglers. We have an ever growing membership, men, women and juniors, the reason? We offer a friendly, welcoming environment, and encourage our new members to come on our trips, and catch fish! |

The Canterbury Kayak fishing club meets every month first Wednesday 6pm - 7pm at paddlerzone unit 2/7 Pilgrim Place Christchurch. Our members pride themselves on safety at all times and these techniques are past onto not only new club members but those who just want to try this exciting new sport. |

Otago Anglers Association Inc - Formed in 1881, the Otago Anglers Association is the oldest angling club in New Zealand, and possibly Australiasia.
The aims and objects of the club are as spelt out in the rules: the encouragement of the art of angling, the fostering of friendship, and emulation amongst anglers by means of fishing competitions and otherwise, and the obtaining of useful information regarding the various streams in the district. |
