| Dusky Dolphins off Kaikoura's South Bay. This smaller species grows to 2.1 m. Duskies are a regular feature for visitors on Whale Watch boats off Kaikoura. They sometimes form herds of hundreds, or even thousands, of animals. They can hang around for sometime and then the whole herd can race away at great speed. Return to Kaikoura. |
