Tony Orman, author and New Zealander, has been matching wits against and writing about New Zealand trout for over half a century. His first book Trout with Nymph in 1974 has been rated 'a classic' by some review critics. Since then he has written over 20 books with a number of reprints of some titles. Tony has traveled extensively throughout New Zealand and has a close association with the fishing fraternity, fishing lodges and guides, partly as a public relations marketing officer for several years with the NZ Tourist & Publicity Department.

Throughout he has been a strong and at times vocal advocate for rivers and trout fishing and the public ownership of both. The Real Story on New Zealand Trout Fishing will:

• Expose the myths and misconceptions

• Give the truth on what to expect of trout fishing in New Zealand

• Give practical advice on New Zealand techniques, flies, and

• Help you to get the most out of your New Zealand trout fishing experience.
