New Brighton Sports Waimakariri River Salmon Fishing Contest - 6 March 2010
The New Brighton Sports Waimakariri River Salmon Fishing Contest was a great success despite relatively few salmon being weighed in during the event.
Anglers line the banks of the lower Waimakariri River hoping to hook a salmon during the competition.
Anglers line the banks at McIntoshes Rocks 2km from the Waimakariri River mouth also hoping to hook an elusive salmon during the competition. In the far distance you can just make out the line of anglers on the north side of the river mouth. Return to Waimakariri River Fishing.
