Manu Bay Snapper
A few good fish dinners here. Caught on light gear in forty metres these fish put up a great fight. Lloyd looks pleased with this big 'Ol Man snapper taken off Raglan, North Island West Coast of New Zealand.

Part of a very impressive catch. There were also a few kahawai and gurnard for good measure!

Manu Bay Snapper

We launched from Manu Bay in the dark on Saturday morning (late November) and slowly made our way out to the 40m mark straight into the westerly chop. We found our spot and anchored only to hook into some very nice snapper.

We managed to get our limit of snapper in just over 2 hours and headed back in before 10:30.

The biggest snapper was a 19 pounder with the others been 2 x 9 lb, 1 x 10 lb and 1 x 12lb all caught on the light gear…great fun!

Congratulations guys - very well done!
