| A line of anglers casting out over the surf on the south side of the Rakaia River mouth on day two of the competition. This was the hot spot with some 19 salmon taken on the Saturday. Unfortunately the
tsunami
warning prevented fishing at the mouth on day three! It was a tremendous event none the less. Rakaia River mouth access map. Return to the Rakaia River Trout and Salmon Fishing main page. |
