| It's been a tough season, but that didn't stop Katrina Erickson (on a working visit here from Montana) catching her first NZ salmon - a brute over 20 lb. It did its best to pull her into the surf. But with plenty of advice from the friendly North Canty regulars, she eventually got it up the beach. No other fish makes a better trophy fish. Caught Sunday 21 February. Congratulations Katrina - what a beaut fish!
