Black Magic Lure Hooks
Black Magic 2x Long Shank Lure Hooks . Fishingmag.co.nz

Black Magic 2x Long Shank Lure Hooks. These hooks are excellent for Feathered Lures.

Black Magic chemically sharpened high carbon steel lure hooks are perfect for tying searun trout fishing lures. They are super strong and will also hold hard fighting kahawai and strong running salmon. The points are quite fine and very sharp so they pierce even the hardest parts of a fish's mouth. They seem to hold their sharpness well despite being pulled across the stones at the Rakaia Rivermouth.

Perhaps the best thing of all is that this particular brand of lure hook can be purchased cheaply making them good economy for the home tyer. With 70 hooks in the handy plastic box completed lures work out at less than 25 cents each. That makes them a great bargain especially considering the very high quality of these hooks.

Take a look here for more about Canterbury Lures. These lures will catch other fish as well as trout. You can read about it here: Searun Trout, Salmon and Kahawai. Fishing with the Canterbury Lure Rod.
